Shipping and Payment Information

Transportation By Air
Shipping is usually by air and is very easy on your part and usually costs $250.00. The normal day I ship is on Fridays out of St. Louis. On rare occassions I do take them to Springfield, Mo/ to ship and that is any day or night of the week I can schedule the best flight. I also on occassions have someone either drive or fly in to pick up their puppy and I try to work with everyone in getting them there as quick as possible. So someone could fly into Springfield or to St. Louis (on Friday's only in St. Louis) and pick their puppies up and fly them home with them on the plane in front of their seat. That applies for the smaller breed puppies of course. I do have several people that drive to the St. Louis airport to pick up puppies on Friday mornings, please be there are 7 am. I'll give you the cell phone number so you'll be able to contact the lady that takes them up there for me. Airline regulations don't allow puppies on the planes if there is extreme weather, such as to hot or cold. The part of the plane they fly in is pressure and air controlled. It's only when they walk them from the termimal to the plane and from the plane to the terminal that they worry about.

Ground Transportation
I only use this on extreme cases and they don't go everywhere in the US. The only reason I would use ground is if the weather is extreme and it's a challange in getting the puppy to you. It's with the best ground transporter in the country. They do have a vet that travels in the back with the puppies at all times. But it does take longer and I'm more partial to the airlines.

Notes on Health
All puppies will have health papers when they leave here. After the last payment is made I schedule an appointment with the vet and also start working on the flight. Most of the time it will be Delta or American Airlines. After I get the flight booked right away I'll give you the flight times, airplane number and an airway bill number. It's very important to take that AWB number with you, because you'll need to show it to them along with your picture ID , in order to pick up your puppy. Some airports have the pet cargo pick up in the reg. terminal and some have it at another location close to the airport. I'll find out and let you know where it's at before you arrive so it will be easy for you to go straight to where the puppy is. Airlines will have the puppies available usually 30-45 minutes after the plane touches down. If you can't be there right away, they will hold the puppies for up to 4 hours after the plane arrives. All crates will have a small food/water dish attached and will have some puppy food taped to the top of the crate.

After you pick up your new little one and get in the car, they might be a little thirsty or need to go potty. If you do stop to let them out please don't take them where other dogs have been, just to make sure they don't pick up any disease. Also, it's best not to offer food until they get home. When you arrive home the puppy will have had a long morning and day and it's very important to let them just look around a bit and rest. Even if you have to put them in another room away from everyone so they can rest. It will help them build back up their immune system and let them just get use to the new surroundings and smells without having to worry about getting played with and held or passed around from person to person. I deal with some extremely tiny puppies and I like to make sure they are handled very easy the first few days. Of course at night you'll probably want to just sit and hold/pet them and thats just fine!
